Katy Was So Understanding!

Kurt and I decided it was time to move and find a single family home. Even though Kurt is a real estate agent, he was much too busy doing commercial development, so we knew there was only one person we wanted to list our loft on Haight Street. Katy knows The Theatre Lofts so well and has sold every unit in it from the time it was converted but one. We met Katy when we bought the loft although she no longer lived there. She and Kurt discovered they were both from Wisconsin so they immediately became fast friends! Katy's marketing skills are so remarkable: she helped us stage our loft to its best advantage without spending a lot of money and she knew how to under promise on price and over deliver. She made certain we had multiple offers on the table with no set offer date and was able to deliver a squeaky clean excellently priced offer. We accepted and then scrambled to find our new home in lower Pacific Heights.

During the very short process (less than a month) we lost our cat, Luigi, at our second home in Glen Ellen. The poor thing was so stressed over all the commotion that it just took off. We searched all night to no avail and I was so bummed I didn't even care what happened after that. Katy was so understanding and called each day to see if we had heard anything, offering sympathy and encouragement. After putting posters up all over Glen Ellen a lady finally called us with Luigi and 17 days after he disappeared he was safe at home again.
